Proud mayonnaise makers from the Zaan region

We started making mayonnaise in 1959, born out of necessity in our own kitchen. Mayonnaise? Surely it could be much tastier! The 80% oil content and the perfect mix of vinegar, mustard and seasoning give our mayonnaise a unique character with a fresh acidity. This authentic recipe still stands today and will certainly not be changed, as our customers are very attached to it. Changes in society demanded changes in the range. Meanwhile, Ron van Wijngaarden had taken over the helm from his father and uncle Teun, and major developments took place under his leadership.

Van Wijngaarden wanted to create a distinctive product and started from two main pillars that the mayonnaise should meet. First, the highest possible oil content and second, a unique combination of mustard, vinegar and seasoning that gives the mayonnaise a full, creamy flavour with a characteristic fresh acidity.

Van emmers, potten, tubes en sticks, de producten van Zaanse zijn beschikbaar in verschillende formats zodat een ieder zijn keuze kan maken.
Naast de bekende mayonaise, heeft Zaanse ook andere sauzen zoals frietsaus, ketchup, curry en vegan mayo.
