Doing Business Ethically
Compliance with legal regulations and internal company guidelines is a top priority for Südzucker, the parent company of Van Oordt The Portion Company. Only by following rules can we protect our company, our employees and business partners from breaches and inappropriate behaviour. That is why it is important for us to combat any professional errors immediately and as quickly as possible. We also need your help for that. If you have information about issues relevant to compliance, such as anti-competitive behaviour, corruption or violations of our Code of Conduct, please let us know. To this end, we have created the 'Südzucker Compliance Line'.
Code of Conduct
The 'Südzucker Compliance Line' is operated by an external service provider who has no access to the content or data of your report or to your personal data. The system is accessible to employees of the Südzucker Group and to external third parties, e.g. customers or business partners. In addition, employees can continue to contact our compliance officer, a superior or the local works council. The 'Südzucker Compliance Line' generally allows anonymous reporting of incidents. However, we prefer whistleblowers to identify themselves, as many investigations can be conducted faster and more effectively if the whistleblower's name is known.
As a whistleblower, you are protected. Whether you contact the 'Südzucker Compliance Line' or the compliance officer, your superior or the works council will treat your information in the strictest confidence.
Please use the 'Südzucker Compliance Line' responsibly. It should not be misused for slander or making false claims. Therefore, you should only provide us with information that you believe is accurate to the best of your knowledge and belief. Whistleblowers who report in good faith will not be adversely affected.
