“Producing the most delicious Belgian pralines” — that is the passion of the Ovidias team. Ovidias guarantees that only certified GMO-free (genetically modified organism–free) raw materials are used in the production of their pralines. No preservatives or artificial colourings are added. Our recipes contain mainly natural flavourings. Add to this their IFS and BRC quality certifications, making them an ideal partner for us.

Mission of Ovidias

Ovidias’ sustainability programme follows the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to end extreme poverty, inequality, injustice, and climate change. At Ovidias, respect for the environment extends beyond the focus on raw materials, the production process, or the ecological precautions taken by suppliers. Every single day, they commit to respecting nature and giving back what it offers us by reducing our ecological footprint to a minimum.

Ovidias will reduce its CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2030. In the past year, Ovidias has already invested in the sustainable development of its production site. For example, a new cooling system operating exclusively with natural refrigerants was recently put into operation. All packaging is 100% recyclable: the cardboard, the aluminium tins, and the film. 92% of the chocolate we purchase is certified. By 2024, we will purchase 100% certified chocolate. Certified chocolate stands for sustainable agriculture and better opportunities for farmers, their families, and our planet. The Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade programmes enable farmers to learn better farming methods, improve working conditions, and better care for their children and the environment.
Through these programmes, farmers grow better crops, generate higher incomes, and create better opportunities while protecting the environment and safeguarding the earth’s natural resources — now and in the future.
